As stated. New to the site. Not the world of custom trucks. I have not been in any magazines or anything like that. Yet. I build all sorts of things at my shop. Pot O Gold Kustoms based in Colorado Springs CO. I have recently purchased an 86 CC Dually. Paid $1500 for it cause the tran was out. Got a craigslist trans for $150. Not to bad of a deal. I have added white faced guages and led's to the dash. Changed out the crappy bucket seats to a bench. THis truck was someone's " cowboy Limo " at one point and it has all the hick stuff to prove it. I have been working slowly at removing that. Changed most all of the interior out so far with older 77 stuff as to get plastic interior parts my 5 kids can be hard on without pissin dad off to much. This thing gets beat up on a regular basis servin duty as the shop hauler. But she needs some attention soon. Sarting out wit the interior, onto the stereo, then to the wiring ( I build my own harnesses so she will be loaded electronically ) then a satin black paint job with gloss black stripes in a few ares. Shop logo of course on it as well. Then onto the suspension. 6 and 8.5. Keepin the stock wheel/tire combo and adding a 5th wheel hitch. Then, she will be getting a redone 454 or 502 with a procharger and holley fuel managment. That will about do it. Problem is I build hot rods all day long so getting the time to get right to it, is hard to find. Not to mention the money. Here are a few pix.
