I was checkin that out this morning, since tou hit the Top 5. Thats sick as hell man, love those old skool mini trucks.



Since you've got it down to bare frame, you should stock floor it under the cab.

I see you're trying to keep a stock hood with a 327. I was considering putting a 350 in my Yota and keeping a stock hood. Smog laws won't allow it, but I put a little thought into it. Just use a dry sump oiling system. Then get an oil pan (stock would be cheaper) and just cut the bottom off, until its around 1/2" to 3/4" away from the crank, and weld some sheetmetal to the bottom, and a drain plug on the corner. Will give you a motor thats likely shorter than the stock one. And it will still work just fine.

been thinkn bout it...my frame is 5 in tall..got all sorts of room....

not real familiar with dry sump...but im wilin to give anything a try..smog laws...haha..i live in south dakota...thanks for the help

Is it just me... or is their a handgun on the hood (in the first pic)...

But the truck does look pretty sic...

lol....hah....thats an airsoft gun....it comes out when we get bored...hurts like a sonofabitch

looks great we have a dry sump on our race car works great and clears up about 4 to 5 inch of room on out small block good luck keep posting pics
