IMO old ford truck rear end if you are keeping 6 lug, or older toyota rear if you want 5 lug. Also the 85 and order mazda rears are the same as the ford.

he probably wants the rear disc brakes that came on a few isuzu's...

Just buy a yota rear, its shorter and you can convert them to disc. You are halfway to 5 lug at that point

true, i'll be doing a tech article on doing the rear disks from a isuzu to a ford rear, i have a courior rear and a 9" i've got to do both of them.

Russ is rite, I do want the rear disk they have and a friend of mine has an isuzu rear i can get ahold of so i'm just wondering if it is shorter then the stock mazda rear.

If it isn't then it'll be the yota rear i'll have to look for.

make sure that rear end is out of a space cab a 4wd rodeo or trooper cuz those are the only models that came with disc on the rear and there is no way to convert them over people up on isuzupup.com's forums have been trying to convert the drum rears to disc and havent been having any luck. you could also convert over to an impulse rear end which i believe is shorter and had disc on the turbo models but the only prob with those is that they are 4 lug
