does toyota make a diesel engine?

i was wondering if toyota made a diesel engine and where could i get 1. thanx

Yes they did. I know they came in the 1983 and previous trucks.

check ebay they werent as popular in american models but theres always something on ebay

ya there are lots up here in ontario the 83 to 87 yota trucks there all hi-lux up here seen one just the other day in the paper for 1500 bucks still thinkin about getting it

you should do the swap and make your own biodiesel

lots over here in japan, hard to get a japanese to sell one though!

we have them everywhere here in australia, one of our work toyotas has one

they go for stupid money around me cause all the farmers want them to run there pumps for bio diesel. and they are dependable and cheap to run and easy to convert
