Ok long story short, truck ran great before the bodydrop, Now it runs like shit. All the re wireing is super clean, and I dont have any check engine lights,So....

The only thing I did was make a custom air intake for the motor, to clear the stock hood, I modified an FBI Aluminum intake canister, sectioned it , and tigd it back up....now the truck seams to cut off the fuel, chugs and hesitates when I drive down the road.???? And I think the MAP sensor solonoid is making alot of noise too, its clickin really loud.??? Anyway Even at Idle it seems to miss and run rich or lean, when I monitor it on the OBD scanner?

Anyone else have a problem similar?Any suggestions?

Drunkguy-

The truck is a 1996 nissan Hardbody, bagged and bodydroped 3.5". Has about 125000 miles but well taken care of.

I drilled a small hole in the side of the intake where it mounts to the engine and ran a small k&n filter on there to give it some more air at the engine. Fixed my problem, just get like a crankcase filter.
Hope this helps you

sorry i don't have any any my camera was stolen with my tahoe!! but i put the filter on the left side of the canister that mounts to the intake manifold nothing to it

was this the 1st time the FBI intake was on the truck? My old roommates truck ran like poo with it, put it on mine and it ran fine.
Make sure the sensor on the intake has a good seal. That will cause a lot of problems.

Yeah, we bought the FBI air intake new a couple of years ago, and when we put it on, yeah, it did run like crap, so its been sitting in the garage since, you know the little air diverter that sits in the canister?...They said to block off one side of it so the air get diverted around to hit the Air Temp Sensor, thats whats makes them act strange, so I did and basically no change. The only reason im running it now is cause I modified it to tuck under the stock hood with a bodydrop....I through the stock one back on for shits and giggles, but same thing,...still runs like crap...?

Im starting to lean towards MAF sensor, but I want to know from everyone else that had one go out, what are the symptoms?

hellbent dropped my motor down a inch so i can clear a stock hood with a nice 8in summit chrome air cleaner and my truck runs great now with out the fbi junk

yeah, my motor mounts were droped an Inch also, With that summit air cleaner, does it have a spot for the air temp sensor or vaccum lines?
