Check your fuel pressure. I had a severe lack of power and misses at all different times. Thought I had real problems until I checked the fuel pressure and it was low. Should be around 35 or something for a fuel injected and maybe like 15 for a carburated one. I replaced my fuel pump and that was it. It ended up being really clogged with shavings from my aluminum fuel cell. If it's not that check the fuel filter and regulator. Don't look too far into it though. Start with the basic three fuel, spark, and ignition (I think that's right). Best of luck and lemme know if you wanna buy my engine. Tranny and all for $650.

have you changed your fuel filter latly and in stead of doing a comp check try a leak down test

* fuel, spark and compression. ignition and spark are the same thing.

i second that notion. fuel pressure.
