Building an Oasis

Has anyone built an Oasis compressor from scratch. I got a York for cheap and my work has tons of electric motors laying around. A winch motor would work, right? What does everybody think about the idea?

sounds cool to try.. might work/might not.. so why not. DJDAudio has probably messed around with something similiar before lol, maybe he could help ya out with some info. if you got the parts cheap and some spare time give it a shot and let us know how it goes

i had been thinking about the same thing except using a hydro motor cause u can get em in chrome for $69 all day!!! i think it would take some work but would be worth it!
