anyone know what would be the best way to link an F350 dually? i need the outside of the frame clear for big wheels and need to keep the fuel tank. also, what would be the best i beams to use? found some on ebay and they are round tube, not sure what to think about round tube drop beams.

on the rear you could a triangulated 3 or 4 link and just move the lower bars inside the frame, but i don't know about keeping the stock gas tank. For the front, if your trying to get it to lay out your best bet is going to be to ditch the i-beams and go with an independent front set up, but its all in to how much you want to spend and how low you want it.

thanks for the reply. i thought about almost all link set ups, but this is my daily/hauler so i need to keep things underneath the same as much as possible. not looking to lay it out, just want it to tuck a little tire when i get my 24's for it. thanks again.

Have you thought of doing a back half and narrowing the frame...that way you can still run a parrallel 4 link...Because for hauling I would think that would be your best bet.

On my Dually we ran a ART parallel 4link but in all honest I superlift was the better route. You can raise the tank some but a link mounted on the outside of the frame in the stock hangers will still let you run semi's, get your adapters from Red's, he makes ones that let the rear wheels tuck without fender mods.

Bill, i would love to do a back half, but i am not going that far on this truck. at least not for quite a few years.

James, i have looked into that, but way too expensive right now and i know i can build something just as good for alot less money.

Eric, so a standard parallel link on the outside of the frame clears? i havent had much of a chance to study the rear of the truck yet(been too busy) but i looked at TC's dually from Fl. and talked to him a while. he said he got his from suicide doors. i have seriously thought about getting one from them but havent seen anything for larger trucks from them. and the adapters along with wheels and tires will be coming from red's. i know frank down there pretty well, known him for years.

thanks for the help everyone

Yeah you can run the parallel and either a panhard bar or a watts link to locate the rear.
