How to Sell Wnen you owe?

How do you sell a car when it has a lein on it ? I owe like $$3984 on my burban , but with GAS prices i want to sell it and get a mini truck 4 banger or V6 needs to be ext cab I have two kids . I can not make payments on both and dont want ot sell my 1987 C-10 to get the money !Thamks for the help.

you have to sell it then once you get the money you have to pay it off to get the lein release, then it will either go to the bank (of the new guy) or to the buyer if he does finance it.

Sometimes it will take like 3-5 days to get a lein release.
