Hey guys and gals. Names Mike im from Chicago im 21 this is my first dually. Sold my lifted f150 sittin on 37s for something more reliable and fuel efficient. So i picked up a 00 ram 3500 cummins 5 speed. Ive always wanted a lowered dually so i figured i had to start somewhere so i got the truck. Anyways just hopin to find someone who has a 2nd gen lowered and can help me with info on how low you can go without bags etc.

okay if i do a 5/7 can i run milled 22s up front without any turning problems? and is 5/7 too low for daily driving? would i have to be worried about bumps etc...

yes on bumps i rubbed inner fender all the time front and rear but it was the stock one so i would definately suggest new tubs..... turning problems might be hit and miss..... as far as towing yes it would be a issue, i dragged hitch alot over bumps and such it squatted pretty good while loaded. i would suggest if you wanna static lower got with a 3/5 and some helper bags.... or just bag it to lay frame and tub the front and rear and have adjustiblity for towing and driving yr round
