I want to notch my frame before I install my links. The upper and lower bars are the same length and will be mounted the same length apart. Do I just center the notch over the axle as is or move it. Or should I just wait and notch after I install the links. I am on a time frame since it is a daily. Just trying to get as much done with it still drivable. Thanks

Get you a plumb bob bro, Jack your axle up and mark the center of the frame with the center of the axle. Clamp one side of your notch in place and use your bob again to center the notch up with the center of the axle again. Just make sure the center of the notch is running in line with the first center line you marked on your frame adn make sure you're centered on the axle. Repeat for the rest and weld them up. Hope it helps bro, If you go to S10forum.com, they have a really good look at how to go about doing it

with the truck perfectly level, this works:

I found that S10forum notch how-to also, Here It Is

Seems you don't have an S-10 but the basic idea is the same with the 8piece notch on any truck.
