I sat in a Dodge last weekend, and the seats were like sitting on wood boards. I wasn't impressed with the interior either. Kinda plain. The Chevy has a decent interior and I can get a better deal on one. Yeah, you're right about the Allison tranny, Chevy owners swear by that thing. Either way, I think both have pros and cons. Right now, I'm leaning towards the Chevy but...

My Father In law has a 06 dodge with the Ho Cummins. He loves it. He said it has enough power to boil the tires with no problem. He hauled six large four wheelers to West Virginia and averaged around 18mpg going through the mountains. He has hauled his 35 foot camper with slide out and said you can hardly tell it back there. I have a F550 that is a pulling machine. On the other hand I'm getting around 10 to 11mpg. I pulled my tahoe to Tenn with my buddys 04 f350 4x4 with a 6.0 and went up the mountains at 75 to 80 mph and averaged around 16mpg. I really liked the new tranny his truck has. I would say that the Ford has more room as far as the crew cab trucks go. The Chevy and Dodge are kinda cramped in the back seat, unless you have the new Dodge mega cab. It only comes in short bed. My Father in laws has the leather and all options and is around 50 grand with 4x4. I hear that people have been having problems with the Duramax. I think You would be better off with a Dodge or Ford.

I've had all 3 before, i currently have a late 04 Duramax. I really like the truck, i tow a 28ft enclosed like it is not even there. I heard the samething about older duramax fuel systems, thats probably why they changed them up in 04. Its hard for me to say which one is definetly the best truck, as far as dollar vs. value, i would have to say you get the most out of the Cummins. Like i said, i've had all 3, they were all good trucks. I guess when its all said and done, its all up to you to decide.

I have pulled quite a bit with my duramax and I love it.

I would have went with a cummins...because personally I think there the best...but there in a Dodge.

I wish Ford would quite selling it and put the cummins in there own trucks. With the cabin size, the motor and then put reg a-arm front suspension on them...that would be a badass truck for our scene right there.

Has anyone seen the new Dodge Megacab Dually with those round fenders? Are those coming on all the Dodge duallies?
