I recently put a new head gasket on my 89 b2200. It still runnin hella hot. It has a new water pump, new clutch fan. It lacks power a little on the take off. Anyone have pics of there timing dead on?? Or know whats wrong with my truck? The head is brand new and the block is also brand new. A pic of the Vacuums would also be nice. Thanks

well what you consider new Block/head junkyard new, remaned. It shouldn't realy run hot from timing or vacume, timming will cause a lil warmer. I would first diabnose the tem prob then attack power. find any leaks new thermastat and verrify the temature with a temp probe. Then attack timming. If you run descent with the stock carb run it and save money for a weber.

CHECK YOUR THERMOSAT BRAND NEW THEY CAN STILL BE FAULTY OR CHECK YOUR RAD. MAYBE HAS SOME CRAP IN IT WRONG MIXTURE OF COOLANT

air bubble in the cooling system somewhere, clogged radiator, faulty thermostat, bad fan switch not turning fan on, crap on front of radiator, clogged water jacket
