PLEAse help the new guy!!!!!!

I did an axle swap from stock 00 ram rear to a 86 f-150. problem is i need help with speedo. any universal kits? anyone figure out a way to put a speedo in? please HELP!!!!

any speedo-shop can custom make you a cable(even while u wait) tell them what youve done and they can make one. or to adapt from one style cable to another.

for some of the bigger gear changes they have a small adaptor box to help with large differences. otherwise if its not too radical of a change u can just get a new tranny gear to correct the speedo.

look in the phone book for speedo repair. iv had deluxe speedo here in denver make me maybe a half dozen cables/adaptor boxes.

cables are cheap usually less than 25 bucks. the adaptor boxes go for about 60.

The spedo is electronic right now there is no way to use the factory unit because the speed sensor is on the rearend. And by the way when you drive it for the first time its gonna shift funny because the tranny reads off that sensor its no big deal

mabey install a autometer one...i thought the vss was on teh tranny

any ideas or prices on an autometer? any way to get it to read through the factory dash?
