I have an 84 s-10 what do i have to cut for it to lay? Like for the tie rods and lower control arms? Thanks for the help in advanced.

you have to notch the frame for the tie rods not sure about the control arm. i put lower control arms on mine and they fit with out triming. if you have the extra cash i would just put control arms on it.

What size wheels is the main thing. You might not have to do anything for a 17 or 18.

If the lower arm hits the frame, you can cut the hump off the arm and replate it. You can get away with trimming the frame for clearance too, to a point.

But yeah, it all depends what size wheel you are running. No need to run out an by control arms if you dont need them. You can lay 20s on stockers with some basic fab skills if you wanted.

I plan on running 18s so don't cut anything but for the tie rods?

These kind of questions kill me. Dude you jack up the tire until it is flush with the frame, if something is stopping this from happening cut it. A little common sense goes really far.

This is true but i rather ask to double check with everything and see what other people did and what worked the best
