hi everyone i have a 93 toyota pickup i had 40 dcoe bebers on it and got some new crhome 45 dcoe webbers my problem is that when i start it it idles like at 3 grand i dont know why any help would be great thanks.

start it and then once it runs for like 2-3 seconds then just tap the accelerator pedal(gas pedal) make sure it revs up when you tap it though, b/c on my yota it does the same... so just tap the gas pedal and it should go back to normal throttle postion

if the idle screw didnt do anything you need to check that your linkage isnt binding up somewhere, even if it moves freely it might not allow full movement, try unhooking the linkage and then start it and see how it runs then.

i think i found the problem one of the idle mixture screws broke all the way inside of the carb so now i got to send it in to lc engeniring to get repaired thanks for everyones help.
