Ok I just read the junes mini truck article on 4 links and its a little scary lol.. I have never bagged a truck but I want to do a forward 4 link with my bags on the bars.. Im going to buy th SD kit I want to know how long my bars should be? Whats most common for an 86 standard cab mazda? What are you guys using? Is this the best way to go? Im orderin stuff the middle of June.. I was also curious how hard it is to move my tank into the back of my bed?? Sorry for so many questions.. You can email me at zshaver05@hotmail.com If that will be easier..Thanks for any help.

I would love to have a washington guy help me with this.. Im in Vancouver

movin the tank is easy, just need some longer gas lines. i'd keep the tank under the bed though, not inside the bed, im not gonna lie to ya, it just looks like shit. doesnt SD have some prefabbed kit that you can just order without giving them a bunch of dimensions? that would be a nightmare if you're unsure about certain things. and if i had to do it that way, it would just be easier to make it on your own i would think. dont know, i've never bought a kit. on my 79. i triangulated it, but the triangulated bars are connected so i could get by with one heim joint and easier assembly. but all the bars are 3 feet long.

Ill have to look into the kit. I wanna use some square tube and make a place for the tank where the spare goes

i did the assend of a 86 yota a few months ago, and he had the SD kit. we mounted the bags on the upper bars, and did all tube mounts n crap with a triangle notch he made, it turned out really well. im in tacoma BTW, i can give ya a hand, l8tr bro
