Thanks, yeah I was so glad to get started. Still have tons of work to do but its a good start for a weekend. Only bad thing is I ended up with Fucking Flash burn on my face

y dont u just keep goin instead of putting the factory rear clip back on it??? it would look so much better. what are u usin cross members wise and to give it a lil more strength?

This is the first frame work I have ever built so figured I'd just start out slow. If all goes well I will prob tear back into it and do a back half. As for crossmembers there will be one towards the front for the tranny and one towards the back right before where the old rear end is. Haven't done the tranny crossmember yet because I am planning on putting a 350 in and not sure where exactly it needs to be. Prob gonna throw another crossmember in the middle just for the hell of it. Rather it be over done than underdone

you should go ahead and do the 3/4...just because its your first frame doesnt mean you should take shortcuts

Yeah I thought about that too but your not gonna see any of it when i am done anyway. I am doing a smoorth bedfloor with tubs and a dog house. not saying i have ruled out the idea though.
