lamp out light

i have a 03 ram and every time i hook my trailer and sometime when it isn't the lamp out light flickers on and off randomly has any one esperienced this and if you have what was it

That happened on my truck. I hate that dam light and I really hat the chime it makes all the dam time. Anyways, I took the tailights off and checked the bulbs. One bulb was corroded. Went to autozone and replaced all the bulbs for like $10. Used that bulb grease stuff and haven't had a problem since. Hope that helps.
