water drop effect?

i know this is easy, but can someone give me all the steps to do this. i know it involves a spray bottle. not sure if you spray and then wipe it off? thanks in advance.

You need a heated booth...You get it warm and the water evaporates...I believe

it was on overhaulin i believe the got a heated booth sprayed the water on where it would make decent sized beads of water and not fall down. Then set up some lights to hit the water. That way when you spray the clear the water will dry and leave a shadow. I think if i remember correctly thats how it was done. Hope that helps. But i could be wrong have been before. Good Luck.

ok this is going to be kind long and this is the way i know how to do it so there may be more than one way to do it. You can only do it on flat surfaces, you base it in the color you want then spray water on it how you want it to look once you get it how you want it to look you have to act kinda quick. You need a candy that accents the base and white, in a airbursh spray the candy realy lightly across the water from one direction then take the white and spray it from the other direction. then you wait till the water evaperates, it doesnt have to be in a heated booth but it does help. A heat lamp will work also just dont move the water. the water drys out and the light dusting of paint settles on the surface leaving the look of water drops it looks nice but it will take some practice to get it to look right. i was told you cant do it on all colors but i havent tried many, done orange and purple. good luck
