OK S-DIME GURU'S.... What if any aare the differences between a regular 4.3 out of a 94 s-dime and a 4.3W out of a 4X4 94 s-dime? Please help we are trying to get it running asap.

also, depends on the VIN of the 94 S10.
Vin Z= TBI
Vin W= Multi Port injection
and as stated above, the oil pan hangs lower on 4x4s

the vortec heads have a different angle for the intake but the valves are the same size in the heads and the vortec has a balance shaft in it above the camshaft to balance the engine out.

I have a 2wd 4.3L Vortec Type W motor on my truck. My oil pan sits about a 1/4" off the ground if that. Supposedly the W type motor was made for towing and has more torque and a little bit more hp. I know that the air filters and stuff are different on the motors but it's pretty much the same motor and block. Maybe a few extra hp if that. However, with my motor I didn't have to lower my motor mounts or anything and I bodydropped my truck and am running the stock hood.
