is anyone running both the belltech spindle and djm control arms on a f150? is there any clearance issues with the tie rods or any thing else? anyone have pics of their setup

just spindles here... but i'm certain you'd have to notch for the tie rods still. I did measure it once, and flipping the tie rod on the bell tech spindle puts it just over a 1/2 inch lower than on a standard spindle, so you should be able to technically go a bit lower with the same tie rod notch depth... hope that makes sense!

^^^ in the pics in my profile, the tie rods don't hit the frame yet... still a couple inches from laying frame though.

i have the spindles also already, and i notched for the tie rod but i just got the control arms and i was wondering if i flip the tie rod to the bottom will i have to notch it more with the control arms. i guess i'll just put them on and see what hits

Let me know how it works out, I've been thinking about running the arms too, but I can't really fuck w/ my camber any more and still clear the tires so I'm probably just going to leave it how it is and cut my bag cups down more to get it on the ground...

On a side note, I think i'm going to paint my interior this fall/winter... do you leave the pass side airbag on? It's been bugging me that I'll have paint and clear on that and if I happened to wreck I just wonder if the vinyl will end up like shards of glass w/ the paint on it. Almost leaning towards just turning it off and glassing it smooth completely...

ii'll let you know how the arm work.

and on the air bag i just never pluged it back in. i thought about removing it and selling but didn't make up my mind until after the painter already painted it.

control arms are a waste of time on the 97-03 f-150, just cut down your stock ones and you cal lay if you cut off your stock spring pocket. i lay frame/body on stock upper and lower control arms on a 29.5 diameter wheel and i also cut an inch off the rockers. i have the spindles but im not using them till i get my 24's...
