Custom center consoles!

the way we i did a console when we use wood was just picked up some pipe welded a bottom on it then welded a ring around the top cut a hole in the console dropped the pipe in and the ring at the top stopped it from fallin threw. We ground it smooth and sprayed it so it looked good. Turned out better than i thought. No pictures though. That was back when i first posted this thread.

but also if you use fiberglass just get some chicken wire roll it wire it together then lay some sheets over it and plaster some resin on it. Sand smooth paint and drop in. I assume that would work never did it though.

Damn dave thats badass! Is that goen in your blue truck? Is it hard to see around or is it short enough to see over? I need to run two 10" subs switch box cup holders and an auto shifter in mine! the last one that i had in the truck, it felt like your passenger was seperated from you. so this one sits real clean, not awhole lot of pertrudeing. after some airbrushing and some LED's in the eyes, it should look pretty cool.

I'd like to do sheet metal. To match the dash i want. But interior is gonna be last since the motors dyen. Daves is gonna be the shit with the leds and what not!

you could use pvc pipe capped off. and just glass it in.
