Is any one running these? I wanted to know how they ride. I heard alot of good things about the firestone f9000's but they only have a .25" ports and I want something a little faster than that.

I have the 9000 on the rear of mine and they ride smooth. These are a great bag to run on your axle. As far as mine being slow if I do not watch it it will do a back flip with 3/8 Parker valves.

so youre saying they are still pretty fast with the .25" ports? I'm gonna use .50" smc's

i'd stay away from smc's, if you are running higher psi and/or if its cold. check out apsco cheaper and a better high psi valve

Mine are very fast since the rear is not that heavy and I have my valves mounted close to the bags, but yeah, mine absoulutly fly up and down.

I ran smc's on my ranger for 3 years with out 1 problem so I'm gonna stick with them until they give me a reason not to.

i ran smc's on my sdime for 1 year, never had a problem, now i got some on my mazda, no problem. SMC's are good valves.

smc's are awesome. although i also like the new tork valves. no need for check valves cause they are closed.

1/4" port would still be quick on the rear of a truck.. I know I have 1/2" port contitech 2600s, and 1/2" SMCs on the tank, but use mini-ball valves and reduce it down to I'm sure closer to the 1/4" size (or smaller actually) and I'm happy with it.

Just be sure to use DOT approved fittings, I used to have 1/4" port firestone 2500s on the front of my truck.. and recently switched to 1/2" port contitech 2500s and don't really see much of a difference.. the fittings had about the same size ID it seems anyway..just run 1/2" line.

the magority of the speed coems from valves, volume and pressure. seeing as the 1/4" is right at the end of the line, its not a prob, and will give a slightly lower dump speed too
