ok i have a 94 4.3 vortec and i have changed plugs and wires and have a cold air intake but it stutters when i take off but only when i floor it what could be the cause of this?

mines done dat before but it was just as simple as bad gas i just ran some good 93 through it and a little seafoam and octane booster through it

if it is the vortec ur supposed to run at least 92 octane

You could have a clogged fuel filter. That is an easy fix too!! Depends on where you bought your spark plugs from. If you bought them from Auto Zone or Advanced Auto parts or some place like that then you could have bad spark plugs. I've seen tons of brand new spark plugs not worth shit. Espically those crappy Bosch platinum plugs. You need to go to the dealer or NAPA and get reagular AC Delco platinum plugs. That cured my problem.

o wow didnt know about the 92 thing i always run mid-grade in it but i'll give it a try and yea i used the plugs from autozone and i did get the good ones so i know its not that

ok guys just went out to work\play with the truck i ckecked all the plugs and they all are fire'n so spark plugs and wires are good. and it completely dies when i go full throttle but if i east into it it kinda stuttres and then does fine so any ideas what it is and yea i put 93 in it with some octane boost so?

mine was bogging on me when i floored it because on my cold air intake there was a air gap between the stock hat and the aluminum tube it was losing all my power and was bogging out check for any gaps
