Dude notch your frame to clear the tie rods. If you bottom out on them you're going to bend them or fuck the ends up. It will also be hard as shit to get them apart when you change spindles, if you do.

werd... i wouldnt of drove my truck if it hadnt been notched...

how did u notch it like that i am alittle worid about cutting the frame there is that really safe and is there eney body that has a welder that live around me that will do it cheap i dont think i have a big enough welder

The only weight that is in front of the frame where the notch is, is going to be 1/2 your hood/fenders and radiator. The motor mounts and suspension mounts are weighted behind that. besides, everybody does it.

I would plate it. There is weight, and with time it may be enough to make your frame start to bow where the cut is. Its not hard to plate it. Weld some 3/16" plate in there if you have to. Also you could potentially get water inside yoru frame and start it rusting fromt he inside otu where you dont want it to. Potentially problematic.
