Should bolt up fine with a header. If for some reason not relocate the comp. out of the way.

give me the 2.0 and buy yourself a 350 or something. that will solve all your problems..

I've seen some B2000-B2200 trucks with different AC mounting brackets, come to find out the dealer installed many of the early systems by outsourcing the job to AC shops. Thats why some AC buttons on the dash look different. If your truck came stock with PS, but not AC, that is likely your problem.

You may have to get an AC bracket from another truck. Unfortunately, the bracket is usually partly behind the motor mount, which makes for a long tedious job to both get one off the donor truck and also to install it.

Alternatively you can modify the brack to clear the header. It should clear with only a slight move.

I had to have my AC bolted on then wiggle the header in place it touched one of the bolts but in worked on a 2200 with the saden 708 im pretty sure the headers are the same
