f150 choptop

i've never seen a picture of a 97-03 choptop. i have heard that they are fugly, just wanted to see.

i think IF Customs is building one thats on their website. Its getting a choptop AND a bodysection. its got pics of the bodysection but no chop top yet.

WHY WOULD YOU WANNA GO THROUGH ALL THE WERK TO SECTION A SQUARE TRUCK INSTEAD OF JUST CUTTING OUT 2" OUT OF THE BOTTOM OF THE ROCKER OR THIS TRUCK THE DOOR?????IF U WANT TO SHORTEN THE HEIGHT OVERALL Y DOES IT MATTER IF U REMOVE THE 2" FROM THE MIDDLE OR THE BOTTOM???

I guess it mattes if you want the body line to stay the same distance from the ground.. if you cut the rockers off, the body line would look goofy being that close to the ground.

i cut my rocker off and it dont look goofy, it lays real nice. But i think you guys got it all wrong, when i look at my f-150 i dont think it needs a chop top, but i do think it needs sectioned. the top looks nice already but the body sides are really tall. i think it would look good sectioned. i dunno about the chop top alone though, that would be lame.

Because it is getting layed on the door, 1 1/2 in. section, and like a 2 1/2 in chop. They still work on it it is just alot of work . I know they were having trouble on gettin everything to fit. Like the motor since it is right under the windshield

becuase they dont wat to hackm it past the door and have to rebulild a whole new floor and possible have an in cab body drop instead of stock floor as well as that would shorten the wheel wells also, plus would look unproportional.
