my pinion seal was leaking, so last nite i changed it and it still leaks? wtf. i checked the yoke it didnt seem bad or worn to the touch but i knwo maybe it is and u cant see it.or is i t possible the vent on the rear is clogged up? i did a lot of cutting grinding painting on the rear so maybe it cannot vent? or is it possible i have to much fluid in the rear?

what kind of truck or rearend is it and how much grease did you put in there?

its a 92 yota pickup.
well i put the oil in and it came out the filler hole so i put the plug in. usually u put ur pinky in and if the oil touches the tip of ur pinky ur good. maybe i have to much in there?

u let it leak out of the fill hole until it quits leaking but you don't have to much in there. so i would check your vent plug/hole/hose whatever it may be. if it is clogged i would clean it, cause the pressure can build up in there pushing fluid out of the front seal around the pinion. so you're probably right about the vent being clogged.
