ok guys. i am about to sell my d-50. I have found a 99 reg cab sonoma fro 1,000 bux. All that is wrong with it, is the fuel pump is bad. Thinking about buying it for a nice clean daily.

Now my question is, what all exactly is needed to lay one out on 18's?

ok so far i gotta raise the gas tank.. that's basically all i will need other than basic air ride parts?

i know i'll need cups, spindles, and a link set-up. probably gonna do a 3 link wishbone setup so I ain't gotta move my gas tank completely, and i am going to only do a 6 valve set-up with just 2 switches. It's just gonna be a clean daily. Ain't gonna shave nothing, or do any interior, just be low on some cheap 18s.

if u want it to lay low u can just swap out the springs in the front for 2500 or 2600 bags and the rear do a monster notch with 2,3,or 4 link id would put the bags on the bars to get alot of lift i have the road grader with sleeved bags and i get sh*t for lift if u want lower in the front u need to pull out the inner fender wells and maybe tubuler a arms. here is a pic of my truck i have tubuler a arms in front and roaf grader in rear and iam running 17s for now i will lay on 20-22 combo soon. good luck man...

You can lay on 18's with the inner fenders still in, with the right size tire. Your tire will hit the inner fender at the same as it lays out. One other thing that needs to be done is the bolts on tranny x-member hang down and you will drag through them. And of course you need to cut the bed out. I've heard people say you can lay 18's with out cutting it out but I would rather have the extra support of a good step notch.
