I am looking to do a 3"-4" drop or so what products are out there? What is a good place to get them? Thanks Guys

mono leaf the rear, drop blocks and crank the torsion bars. $25 max. or you can use the drop spindles and spend about $200 extra.

If you want blocks I'll give you set, you py for the shipping.

if you choose to go with spindles, the cheapest i found them when i bought mine was $171 with free shipping at

http://www.truckperformance.com/products/searchtype_56d/sortorder_AA/productcategory_Spindles/category_Suspension+~~+Chassis/sf1_TOYOTA/sf2_1988/sf3_PICKUP/sf4_2wd/

but if that's too much, ^^he's right about the torsions & blocks, but don't forget to take out the bumpstops & get shocks (at least for the front) or it will feel like you're driving a forklift.

thanks for the help guys. Do they make a 3" a arm for an 88 or just the spindle? With the spindle would the ride still be good if I cranked the trosion bars an inch to drop the front a total of three inches? I want to tow a sea doo so I want the rear to be strong. I was thinking of removing a leaf and a 4" block.

INSTEAD OF PURCHASING DROP SPINDLES OR CUSTOM ARMS FOR YOUR TRUCK...I HAVE THE SAME YEAR THAT LAYS ON 17'S. WHAT YOU CAN DO IN THE FRONT IS TAKE AND FLIP YOUR BALL JOINTS AND CRANK YOUR TORTION DOWN A LITTLE BIT..THE BALL JOINTS JUST BOLT ONTO THE ARMS SO BY FLIPPING THEM, IT WILL GIVE YOU AN 1" OF DROP THAT WAY YOU DONT HAVE TO LOWER YOUR TORTION AS MUCH, RESULTING IN A SLIGHTLY BETTER RIDE. ALSO, IN THE REAR THERE ARE ONLY 3 LEAFS TO BEGIN WITH SINCE YOUR GOING TO BE TOWING A TRAILER, I WOULD REMOVE THE OVERLOAD SPRING NOT THE BIGGER ONE, BECAUSE WITH THE ADDITIONAL WEIGHT IT COULD BREAK THE MAIN LEAF. OR PUT IN SOME HELPING BAGS TO SUPPORT THE ADDITIONAL WEIGHT. IF YOU DECIDE TO USE A 4" BLOCK MAKE SURE YOUR PINION ANGLE WILL BE OKAY. P.S. MAKE SURE YOU REMOVE ALL THE BUMP STOPS TOO.

I am looking for the best ride possible. I was wondering if in the rear if I should go with the lowered leaf springs? Will that help with towing at all? I was looking into getting the spindles and possible the lowered leafs with new shocks. Any suggestions about that

On my 88 I have Beltech spindels w/ turned down tornsions, had 2'' dropped leafs w/ 2'' blocks,& Doetschtec shocks all 4 conners. Had to c-notch w/ this set up. Rode grate! Still have the leafs if someone wants them.

I have seen that some companies make a 3" control arm is that a better idea than a drop spindle? Or is a spindle the way to go? Thanks
