i was wondering how everyone with a bagged conti set up the rear. i have a 62 that i plan to bag soon. i jacked it up today and started looking. it seems like i could use the front spring perch and just notch the top with a torch for clearence for the bar. and run the top bar from about 8 inches or so inboard from the lower bar mount on the axle to the space above and to the back of the front spring perch, and weld in some 1/8" plate in that area for strength. i am fairly confident i could fit the links in but i don't know where to put the bags. i have looked into using shockwave 7000s but i don't know if they would hold the weight of the big bas tard. if i went that route i may be able to use the stock shock mounts and just beef them up a bit with gussets. if anyone has some pics that would help please post them. and any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks
