hi, we painted our house and got some of the overspary on our mini van. it's '05 and has the extra paint protection warranty thing. but looking for something to do it ourselves as oppesed to $250 bucks. the guy at the car wash place used some pink thing that looked like silly putty. ( on 1 small spot to show how it worked.) thanks for any help. michelle

that silly putty lookin thing was a claybar/overspray rub....cant remember exactly what its called.....the paint oversprtay should come off with wash n wipes/wax&grease remover or something to that effect if its tough and wont come off with the rub,use that silly putty looking thing with some sort of showroom shine or quick gloss....your local (auto) paint supply store should be able to help with all the products and advice for the job....NEXT TIME PARK DOWN THE STREET!!!!LOL

thanks so much!!! we will have to try the clay bar. (we didnt know what it was called) we were smart enought to move the car when we painted the front of the house, but i guess that came from one of the sides being painted. now we know that paint can travel far and easily. lol. thanks again , michelle
