national guard

hey guys well im 17 and i have been thinking bout going to the guard...anyone here in a gaurd or other groups..how is it.im going to go to work on and paint the truck but i will be at wyo tech well i go so.idk.. what do you guys think bout doing service for you country...

I used to be in the military...Got out in 2000.
I actually have an appointment today in about 40 min with a Guard recruiter...I'm going back in.

What branch of service are you thinking about entering?

I'm a SSgt in the Louisiana Air National Guard..... what state do you live in... here in LA we offer free tuition to any state funded school you want to go to plus the GI bill and GI kicker... which means basicly if your grads are good enough you can go to LSU for free and get paid to do so... FYI ... let me know what details you need to know and if your in LA man hit me up i can walk you thru the process......
