Hey all....first post here.

I am interested in bagging my 99 benz c280 sport. I read somewhere on here someone was suggesting using shockwaves.

What I am looking for is somehting bolt-on, and performance-minded. Speed is not really an issue, I don't plan on dancing, hopping, or dragging.

I really want to preserve/improve the handling charactaristics of this car, but at the same time I want to bag it.

I thought of shockwaves because i know ART stuff is designed for performance and is "race proven"

i guess my question is what suggestions do you all have and how hard would it be to just bolt some shockwaves in there and be done with it? And does anyone know which shockwaves to use?

Sup man... I have a benz c230 and I've talked with people about bagging it... For the rear all you really need are sleeve bags and fab up some custom bolt in brackets. For the from all you need to do is fab up some cups and some 2500 lb bags. I hope this helps. There is a guy on here with a c280 bagged... Might wanna drop him a line.

thanks, but that isn't the route i'd like to take....

If i just wanted to bag it, i'd chop it up to lay frame (or chassis) and throw in slams all around and some shocks in the rear, with some DSV valves.

With this ride i'd really like to keep it refined, and have handling/performance as my main objective, hence using the ART ($$) components. The shockwaves are built using adjustable QA1 shocks, that's some top notch shit right there!

I have bagged two W202s with shockwaves and in my openion that is the best way to do it, check out my profile for my W203 it's a totally different suspension and the 202 will go lower with alot less work but it will give you an idea, I will see if I can find some pics of the 202s.
