i am getting ready to bag a ranger for a friend and what needs to be done to the front to make it lay out all the way on 18s, and on the rear the canister that is behind the axle mounted on the spare tire carrier can it be removed with out messing with the electronics on the truck.

The front, use cups, bags, you'll have to cut up the front frame area to allow the bag to properly go into the frame when compressed (just make the circle bigger basically) I think you can get away with that for now in the front. The rear, Im not 100% sure, but I believe you need that can for emissions and stuff. Unsure if it will mess with the electronics though. Take it off, drive around and see if it makes a difference. If it doesnt, then you're in the clear. Im pretty sure its for emissions and some other stuff though.

Oh, and if you look in my profile of the Ranger I used to own (sold it awhile ago) I used a toyota front clip for the body drop, but originally, I bagged it using the stock clip/frame and thats what I did... always ran 18's

if its anything like a 98 and 99 which i think it is you have to z the fram about 4 inchs its alot. if you lose the evap canister you get real bad gas milage real bad. the ranger gets real bad bump steer when low so you might have to flip tie rods on the spindle. good luck thats a hard truck to bag i've got a buddy with a 98.
