caprice stearing wheel

This may be a dumb question, but, i want to throw on a custom stearing wheel on the prece, but it has an airbag in the wheel how do i get to the nut so can pull the stocker.

first off, unplug your battery (in case shit.) there should be about 2 or 4 screws on the back of the steering wheel, take those off and the air bag assembly should come right out. then you unplug the wiring harness going to the air bag, after that the nut for the steering wheel should be exposed for you to remove the wheel.

You'll also want to grab an e clip puller so you can get the clock spring out. After that, just grab a dremel tool and there will be two bumps on top of the column (on the inside) that you'll need to ground down because it will rub on the hub adapter.
