Rick hit the nail on the head. You can't sell peace and harmony...there's no audience for it.

well of course you have to meet your deadline; but the deadlines that Boyd gives his employees are horrible. I just can't believe that people still work there under the tons of stress and the epitomy of jackasses, Duane.

i'll agree with you all and say boyd acts like a douche. but from a business stand point you have to be a douche sometimes. especially when your dealing with cars/clients in the 6 figure range. at my work we build power boat motors for 1/4 million dollar race boats and trust me when people are spending 160 g's for two motors and you give them a delivery date you damn well better meet it. no matter how big of a dick you have to be to your employees. i would tell boyd to fuck off after a month of those insane deadlines and that douche bag duane the shop manager. he wonders why foose is stealing all his guys.

You're 100% right...Foose does sell. He also has talent and vision. I guess when you lose those, the only things you have to fall back on are screaming and bitching? Beats me, but you made a helluva point.

has anyone else noticed that boyd's styling is like ten years ago also? people like foose and troy trepanier are making way better looking rides and seem to be taking the upper hand big time. its funny i remember about five or so years ago old guys at cruises would rip on cars with big rims and now that trend is super popular in the hot rodding community thanks too the new school builders like foose, troy and i guess boyd also.
