Hi all, just picked up a 2008 GMC Sierra 3500HD Duramax. I've had several different trucks, mostly diesels, and mostly lifted. Last truck was a Silverado 2500HD CCLB with 6" lift, 22X11's and 33's. I upgraded toy haulers so it was time to step up to a dually. I found this one at LDS in Michigan on Diesel Place.

Before I go any further, I just want to say I HATE ROCKSTARS! Plans for the future include those being gone, and maybe upgrading to a 22" low profile with a mild static drop. I tow a 33' Jayco Octane travel trailer with a Can Am Commander inside, and a Can Am Outlander 800XT in the bed of the truck, so whatever I do to suspension and wheels/tires, it must be able to hold up to 12,000#. We plan to do some long trips too, so that has to be taken into consideration.

I'm part owner of a business in KY that does Lifts, wheels/tires, car audio and security, etc. We carry a lot of different brands and hold the territory for a lot of those names.

1 suspension upgrade I'm thinking of is the R4Tech from Ride Rite. I saw their dually at SEMA and the kit they had on was pretty sick.

Anyway, here's the only pic I've got so far, taking the camper to storage the day after I bought the truck.

Nice looking truck, dont be afraid of towing low. Mine is a 2000 body dropped on 24's. i havent driven yet since the 24's but before on 19's i towed a 31' travel trailer and my heavy ass quad in the bed. Tows awesome and rides even better. Just wich it had a duramax as the 454 is a gas eating dog

My last truck swayed really bad, even with a sway control. The equalizer bars were as tight as I could get them, and still had 100# in the Ride-Rite bags. It was pretty scary at times. I'm on the fence about a 6" lift with 22's/33's or a low-pro 22 and mild static drop. I just want to make sure that it'll tow perfect on long trips.

Here's the last truck:
