Welcome from Ocala Fla! I'm a Chevy guy so I can't offer any help for ford parts.

what a lame answer.

if you want to lowered your truck only a couple of inches, its the same for any truck. shackles in the rear, spindles or drop springs in the front.

do some research, check everyones prices, install is pretty straight forward.

Fords are generally less catered to by the aftermarket...but there are options-

Well after some searching- the DJM is the only complete kit I found....so I guess you have 2 options...DJM, or convert it to a chevy front end.LOL

You also had a "LAME" answer....you are correct about the shackels but fords have I-beam front ends....no drop spindles or drop springs....prolly be lookin at a 3/5 drop with drop I-beams and shackles/hangers or possibly a flip kit for alittle more drop

It may be a little lame to confuse an I-Beam front suspension as on a Ford, to a control arm/spindle setup.

But what got me the most is how "dickhead-ish" he sounded.

Even though I know that's what to expect.
