need a carb.

yo, if anyone has a weber carb layin around, or a holley 5200 with whatever i need to install it, Let me know. i checked hte classifieds, but found nothin.. I need one asap tho. My shits running on stock carb with removed emissions, and i keep having problems with it. i want to just get rid of all the shit, and throw a weber on.. if anyone has one for cheap let me know.. i cant even drive my truck the way it is.. so i need it asap.

go to adavcne auto parts and ask for a carb for a 77 pinto. it is a holley 5200, then hit up ebay and find a weber adapter plate. That will get you rolling. all together you might have 250 in it.. the plates are about 40 on ebay and the new carb is like 189 at advance..

the weber adapter plate fits teh holley fine? sweet.. ill check that out.. i checked on ebay for a carb, but didnt find any.. AS far as the choke.. does it have an electric choke like the stock mazda carb?

no it don't have an electirc choke. It will have a manual choke. you may have to run a line inside your cab or they have soemthing like a water choke. I ain't sure how they work, but I know they do.

I have a holley 5200, factory reman, still in the box. I'll give it up for $150 plus shipping. The weber adapter plate works, and yes you can find them all day on ebay for $40. As for the choke, depending on which 5200 you get, it will have different chokes. You can get manual, water, water/electric, and electric. You probably won't find a carb with an electric choke already, but it's an easy, cheap conversion with parts from the local parts store. Mine is a water choke if you're interested. You'll also need to rig something up for your throttle cable, so keep that in mind.
