well this is my first install in a while. so I get everything hooked up and there is a bad ground noise with or without the truck running out of two pair of rca's i have one plug that has clean sound from it on one amp, but that amp is grounding itself it, you can take the ground off of it and it still plays and it has clean sound if you plug that one rca in. any thought? thanks

i whould try new rca's and make your ground as short as possible..and the same size as the power wire, also make sure it is ground to the chasis not a seat mount.. i had the same problem last week man...

check your rca's. r they run opposite power. make sure the heads arent touching metal anywhere. Ground your radio to the same place as the amp. reground your amps and radio. like the other guy said, make the ground as short as possible and make sure it is grounded to the frame and not the seat bracket.power/ground filter. BLAH BLAH BLAH.

your amp will ground back through the rca's to the head unit, by doing this it will blow the grounds in the head unit. try running a ground wire to the sheild at the end of the rca and see if the noise goes away.
