mazda driveline

does anyone know if the 86-93 mazda long bed mazda driveline is the same length as the 86-93 mazda x cab driveline?

i've got my doubts.

Possibly, since the frame demensions for the lwb and ex cab are supposed to be the same.

yeah i was kinda thinking they might be the same, wich would be good since my daily driver x cab u joints are going out and I have a long bed parts truck sitting out at my grandmas, I was hoping someone on here would know so i wouldnt have to call granny and make her ass get under the truck and measure it for me

Hey Man I have the same issue but in reverse. I need a long bed driveshaft but only have an Excab drive shaft available. I plan on trying to try the excab on the long bed but it will probbaly be in like two weeks. Next weekend is MIDWEST DRAGFEST!!!!! Will not miss that!!! SHoot me a line if it works or not. If it don't maybe we can trade or some $hit.

You know what the real problem is, it's the lack of servicable U-Joints. That Drive Shaft new is over $700.00. But anyway, directing my opinion to your answer, I doubt it. There is a possibiltiy that the drive line is the same length but have never looked around under there with the long bed (never owned one). The long bed has the Swing bearing in it?

yeah they are the same, did the swap a few days ago
