Alright I found a clean 72 blazer 4x4, and was wondering if the front suspension and crossmember from a 73-87 C-10 would go under the front of the Blazer.... Any info would help

the front crossmeber will bolt on. you can also just get a 2wd truck frame and swap it out. its all the same. the 4x4 frame will work just cut off the sping hanger mounts. the hole should already be there for the front crossmember. its alot of work to do. just easier to swap frames.

cool, so use the frame out of 73-87????

a blazer frame is 9" shorter than a swb truck frame. the front crossmember will bolt in to the 4x4 frame with a little drilling. the 4x4 frame will actually make things easier in the rear if you are planning on putting in a big notch and a 4 link or anything like that. the 4x4 frame has straight rails in the back the 2wd does not. the 2wd has a curve in the frame right over the rearend. hope that made sense.

i had a 68 suburban with the crooked frame rails. huge pain in the ass to notch. shoulda just backhalfed it.

the 73-87 front clip will work but you need to stay with a blazer frame. the shortbed frame is longer than the blazer frame plus the 4x4 frame is strate back no curves to the back of the frame. if you need any of the body parts or interior give me a ring
