i have a 89 integera. it has a b16 and im looking to make some performance upgrades to it. What would be a good header system to go with, also, what are some good websites for upgrades to the 1st gen integra??? Seems like i cant find much for it.

G1Teg.org. Whole website on 1st gen Integra. Im guessing the motor was swapped in cause the 1st generation Integra didn't have a b16. If it is infact a b16 there are a few nice headers. Toda is by far probably the best bolt-on header. SMSP and Hytech are both probably the best headers period but are custom made headers which would require a new cat and possibly new exhaust and are very pricey. If you just want some decent gains DC Sports makes a good one for a pretty good price. The gains will be ok but by far not the best.

Here is a test that was done a while back. While it was done on a Type R all these companies make B16 headers and you will see similar gains. They may even be the same but Im not really sure so dont quote me on that. These are by far the best. There are dyno plots to show the improvement.

actually, i was mistaken, the motor is a D16, sorry!

Oh, nevermind then. Check with that site I posted. You will probably find better answers there. Oh and its a D16a1. Some civics had D16z6 motors which are single cam motors. Make sure you don't confuse them when looking for a header.
