Joined up here to follow a build by a guy I know.
I do have a dually of my own, although it is not typical of most on this forum.
1978 Chevrolet K30. It was the brush truck at my department for years, I grew up riding around in it as a kid with my dad when he would go to fire training and do weekly maintenance on the trucks. It had 78k original miles when I got it, I haven't done much to it except add 4" Tuff Country springs up front, ORD greaseable shackles, sway bar end links, new shocks, 1.5" spacers up front, 2.5" spacers between the duals, 315/75R16 Kumhos, 16" Ultra wheels, dumped flowmaster, and a little audio/sound deadening inside. Also converted the grille up front to a 73/74 body style.
When I first bought it at auction from the department
It's replacement, sitting outside my shop
After some cleaning up, new wheels, 285s, and the 73/74 grille.
