Ok heres a question for some electrical wizards. I have a 89 isuzu pup, I put in a 95 2.6 4 cylinder from my rodeo, I had to swap the wiring harness to the pup to get it to work. OK I had it running before the bodydrop, I changes the ENGINE wiring harness from a 94 pup with the 2.6, the only diference I seen was the engine knock sensor so I spliced the old plug to the new harness, and everything else pluged up. Now the truck wont start . it make an ploping noise like its out of time. I timed it before i took it out but I noticed the distrubutor had to be put in 180* off for the engine to run. Now heres the question.. DO you think the distrubutor has to be put back 180* to work with the 94 wiring harness, or do I have someting else wrong?
