well it starts as welding and grinding on the doors caused mad warpage....so, i am about to fill with 50 lbs of bondo when i hear about dry ice....supposedly this guy from my local autoparts store tells me to rub dry ice on my doors to pop out the warpage.....is this true or just one of those myths.....

I found this on google:

DRY ICE METHOD OF DENT REMOVAL

For small dings and dents, a process of heat and extreme cold may force the dent out on its own. Heat the dent with a specialized tool or blow dryer. Once its heated, apply dry ice directly on to the dents surface. The dent should pop out.

you can cool it with an air blower also.

first thing is i doubt you will be holding the dry ice to rub it on anything. 2nd if you dont know what you are doing with the ice you will hurt your self. 3rd i have found if you lay dry ice on a spot that is more of a round dent and not a creased dent then yes it will work i have used it before on hail damage but if you decide to use dry ice be carefull it will cause frost bite really fast.

yes there are different methods of heating/cooling..etc to pop out small dings..but thats usually hail dings on a shiny painted panel...not on a ground down welded on warped panel..which really isnt a "ding", and u cant really see what your doing like on a painted surface

Throw the door away or reskin it,it will take forever to get the warpage out of it!
