My Space - Whats the Deal?

So what is the deal with My Space anyways? I checked, and it is the 3rd most popular site in the USA and 5th in the world! Why is it such a great place? And from a business standpoint, does it help get customers? Lets hear your feedback.

I think everyone's just addicted because it spread around so quick, everyone and their grandma has it.. and it's just the new way to have fun communicating online with friends/family. Just cool customizing your page, then meeting new people even.. from a business point of view, I do think it's a great place for catching the attention of potential customers.

ive been anti myspace for a long time but heard that im missing out on a lot of exploitation for the business, think i may go for it. lol

When it started it was like every other friend/ dating site. It blew the hell up pretty fast and now it is a good way to promote anything. Also, beware of the stalkers they will find you there.

There seems to be so many people that are addicted to it.... I took a computer class and everyone in class was on myspace instead of doing the work... (google and yahoo were first and second)

i got on just so i could find and keep up with bands becasue the music that i like is really hard to find. Then i got sucked in and started stalking chicks who like to exploit themselves on the internet
