I have to mount a set of LEDs. They have a thick lenses that will be sanded down and cleared over to be flush with the body. The thick lenses themselves will have to be glued in. What is the strongest stuff to use? I know there are some stuff out there that is as strong or stronger than a weld.
You can see here in this picture what I am talking about. You cut your hole big enough for the lenses to fit in. Then the long ends with the rabbits on them is where you will place the adhesive.
i used LOCTITE STik'N Seal. bought it at walmart for about 4-5 bucks. havent had any problems with them so far. just make sure you find somethign that dries crystal clear.
talk to ur local paint jobber, they should be able to hook u up with some Fusor products, they make some killer, strong ass epoxies, im not sure the number of the product u would need but they should be able to clarify that for u!!
what id di was wels some bolts to the sheetmetal where you are mounting it, mount the like on those so they are removable then clear rty silicone the lens into the cut you make, couldnt be any more simple.
